July 1^st marked the third birthday for TEKTIC and as we move into our fourth year together there is a lot to look forward to.

In September we will be hosting a workshop to explore the potential role eHealth could play in healthy public engagement. The workshop will feature a panel of guest speakers and presentations from our own TEKTIC members. The event will be a chance to start a dialogue with and hear feedback from researchers, policy makers and experts alike. Planning for the workshop has already started, so please watch for more details in the TICr and on the TEKTIC website as they become available.

We have also started planning upgrades to the TEKTIC website (www.tektic.ca). New features will include a TEKTIC project repository where visitors can search TEKTIC-funded research by researcher name, topic area, theme or key word. Other enhancements will include a Headlines in eHealth section, presentations created by members and other TEKTIC-related resources and links. The TEKTIC website is created for you. If you have any ideas or suggestions about what you would like to see, please let us know!

And finally, as we begin thinking about the future, we will also be reflecting on the past three years. The work we have done as a team has been nothing short of amazing. To date we have 34 projects. Over this next year we will be begin pulling on the common themes that have emerged from our work to continue building and evolving this portfolio.
