Dr. Brenna Lynn

Dr. Brenna Lynn completed both her Bachelor’s degree (in 2001) and Master of Science (in 2003) from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Brenna Lynn received a doctoral degree in Cardiovascular Physiology in 2008 from the University of Oregon in which the dissertations projects focus on the mechanisms of blood pressure regulation to further understand clinical hypertension. Brenna Lynn is a trained researcher and has published in top physiology and scientific journals and has presented research at a number of national and international scientific conferences. Over the past eight years Brenna Lynn has taught university curriculum at UBC and the University of Oregon. Through her graduate studies she received a number of scholarships and grants for her academic and research accomplishments. Additionally, Dr. Lynn has been a consultant in the field of cardiovascular physiology and blood pressure regulation. Upon graduation Brenna Lynn worked as an interdisciplinary grant developer for VP Research at UBC and developed grants that focused on innovative team approaches to health research. Brenna Lynn is the Director of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and leads CPD in strategic planning and directs the overall research and educational initiatives for the division. Brenna Lynn has specific interest in evaluating the effectiveness of Continuing Medical Education/ Professional Development educational initiatives on clinical practice and improved patient outcomes. Brenna is a member of ACSM, APS, CAME, and SACME.
